The Villa: a Virginia wedding venue that looks like it belongs a cliff overlooking the ocean in Italy
The Villa in Virginia Beach is the definition of a hidden gem! I’ve been photographing weddings for nearly three years here in VA, and I can absolutely say that I’ve never shot at a venue with this much authentic Mediterranean beauty. If you are looking for a Virginia wedding venue for your microwedding or for eloping in Virginia in 2023 – the Villa needs to be a stop on your list of locations to visit when planning your wedding day! Not all small weddings have to be on the side of a mountain, friend. This place is seriously stunning.
An amazing styled shoot with some awesome vendors at this Virginia wedding venue
I had the pleasure of photographing the Villa with Here and Now Bridal & Studio I Do, two local bridal boutiques here in Hampton Roads, and the results were BEAUTIFUL.
The florals were styled by Sarah Rust and went beautifully with the new releases these two boutiques have on the racks! The girls were actually all brides of the boutiques, how fun!! They modeled some of these new gowns as well as bringing their own along from their actual weddings to wear! It was such a fun collaboration between a few wedding vendors here in Hampton Roads. I loved getting to meet and hear about everyone’s wedding experiences and proposal stories.

In the heart of Town Center in Virginia Beach, this beautiful Virginia wedding venue can accommodate up to 50 guests for your ceremony and reception. With multiple different spaces to host your friends and family, you have so much versatility with this Virginia wedding venue. The courtyard is typically where ceremonies are held; golden hour looks stunning in this part of the Villa! The venue has another indoor space for a reception or cocktail hour – but a lot of guests will usually convert the ceremony space over for dining later in the evening.
I spoke to Jodi, the owner, who has so many beautiful plans to improve and expand this gorgeous Virginia wedding venue in the coming years. I can’t wait to continue working with her and am so excited to see what she has planned!
